Designed, developed, and deployed the complete new iforwhile web site, including a high performance frontend built with Next.js 15 and SSR, fully internationalized with next-intl, and optimized for SEO and social metadata. Implemented a modular NestJS backend REST API. Managed deployment through CapRover with SSL, domain configuration, reverse proxy rules, and environment variable management. The solution follows Clean Architecture principles, enabling maintainability, scalability, and fast content delivery.
Challenges
Delivering a fully internationalized and secure fullstack platform required careful integration between frontend and backend, strong API security, and a robust DevOps pipeline on a self managed VPS.
Internationalization with Next.js 15
- Challenge: Implementing SSR compatible multi language support without degrading SEO performance.
- Solution: Used next-intl integrated with SSR pages to deliver pre rendered, localized content optimized for crawlers and users.
API Security & Authentication
- Challenge: Protecting sensitive endpoints and enabling multi role access with minimal performance loss.
- Solution: Implemented JWT authentication with role based access control in NestJS, validating tokens at middleware level.
Deployment & Scaling
- Challenge: Ensuring reliable deployment on a single VPS while supporting multiple services securely.
- Solution: Used CapRover to orchestrate multi container apps, with SSL, reverse proxy rules, and isolated environments.
Results/Conclusion:
The final platform is fast, SEO optimized, secure, and maintainable. It demonstrates mastery in fullstack architecture, DevOps automation, and Clean Architecture applied to production software.
